The department has yet to confirm Christopher Dorner's death, however, Sheriff John McMahon said that law enforcement is no longer searching for Dorner. The identity of the deputy killed in yesterday's shootout with Dorner was also confirmed as being Detective Jeremiah MacKay, 35, of Redlands, from the Yucaipa Station.
