Photos: Dorner’s Body ID’d in Burned Cabin
February 15, 2013
A ceramic angel statue overlooks the burned out cabin that is all that remains of fugitive Christopher Dorner's last stand in Seven Oaks February 15, 2013. The charred remains are a grisly reminder of the nightmare Dorner caused Southern California residents for almost two weeks. Dorner was accused of killing four people as he executed a personal manifesto targeting police. Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain and San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremiah MacKay were among the fatalities. Authorities collected a handgun with a silencer along Glass Road near the scene this morning, while mountain residents anxiously await a return to normalcy.
