"Jon Bon Jovi is a smart guy who loves to learn new things," says Bergman. "As a creative person, he’s always been interested in photography and, after watching me work day after day photographing him, he starting asking questions. I occasionally teach individual and group photo workshops, but he’s clearly my highest profile photo student! During the tour on non-show days, we would walk around parks in the neighborhood and I’d teach him about apertures and shutter speeds. He’s got a great eye, but didn’t know the technical aspects of making an image. I took this photo of him in lower Manhattan, New York City, as he adjusted the settings on his camera. Inside WORK, there’s a special section featuring some of the images he’s taken on family vacations around the world and I’m quite proud of his work! It’s quite a unique look at Jon’s life literally through his own eyes." ( 20120926_JBJ_Photo_lesson_0014.NEF )
