Tichelman was arrested July 4, 2014 in Santa Cruz and is facing second degree murder, destruction of evidence and transporting and providing narcotics. Tichelman, allegedly a high-priced call girl, is suspected of injecting Google executive Forrest Timothy Hayes with heroin on his yacht in the Santa Cruz harbor on Nov. 26, 2013 during a liaison between Tichelman and Hayes, who is married and the father of five . According to Santa Cruz deputy police chief Steve Clark, Tichelman left Hayes to die from an overdose when it was obvious Hayes was suffering from 'medical complications' from the drug injection. Surveillance video recovered from the yacht revealed Tichelman nonchalantly gathered her belongings, gulped down a glass of wine and left.
