Champ Bailey, CB, New Orleans Saints The 12-time Pro Bowler who was released by the Broncos in March primarily for financial reasons, had dealt with a foot injury that kept him out of the first two preseason games. His game has waned in recent years, but he is still widely regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in history and seems a Hall-of-Fame lock. Stephen Hill, WR, New York Jets Hill, a second-round pick by the Jets in 2012, had 45 receptions with four touchdowns in 23 games for the Jets. After he was released, Hill said he was “disappointed” in general manager John Idzik and coach Rex Ryan for not giving him more of a chance. BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, Cincinnati Bengals The six-year veteran played the last two seasons in Cincinnati, compiling 498 carries for 1,850 yards and 13 touchdowns. But he sat out much of the preseason with a hip injury, and the team chose to go with rookie Jeremy Hill. Terrelle Pryor, QB, Seattle Seahawks Seattle traded for Pryor in April, offering up a seventh-round pick to the Raiders in return.
